About myself

My self-image: I am a defender of scientific thinking in the interface between believers in fringe ideas and skeptics of fringe ideas. By "fringe," I mean anything which is either not accepted by most people, or not accepted by established science. Because I do not take any side except the side of scientific process (rather than scientific fact), I endure condemnation from both sides of such debates, which is my reason for not giving my real name here.

WikiSynergy.com is set up partly to promote debates between proponents and skeptics of any subject. However, unlike private websites, I do not determine the content of the viewpoints expressed. Rather, the proponents and skeptics themselves control the content (relative to how willing they are to edit). And unlike forums, WikiSynergy is attempting to write reliable articles which are more than mere conversations.
